José Manuel Rueda Sampedro (born January 30, 1988 in Linares, Jaén, Andalusia) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Spanish club FC Barcelona Atlètic as a defensive midfielder.
He debuted on First Division in May 17, 2008 with the first team in the in the match against Real Murcia replacing Eiður Guðjohnsen.
In the 2009/2010 season he was named captain of FC Barcelona Atlètic.
