Juan Mata has intimated that he is happy at Valencia, despite Barcelona enquiring about his availability in the summer.The Spain international was targeted by the Blaugrana as they sought a player to compete with Thierry Henry on the left side of their favoured front three.
Valencia were reported to have placed a hefty price tag on the Real Madrid youth team product, and Barca opted to end their interest.
Mata would not disclose whether he was disappointed by los Che's decision to price him out of a move, rejecting the chance to discuss what a move to Barca would have meant.
"The market is closed and to tell you the truth, I prefer to think about the present and the exciting season ahead," he told reporters in Valencia.
"I am only focused on what is waiting for me with Valencia and nothing else."
