Samuel Eto'o is set to press ahead with his claim for €2 million in compensation after being sold by Barcelona in the summer to Inter, according to his agent.

The Cameroonian striker is enjoying his new life in Serie A but still feels aggrieved at being pushed out of Camp Nou and is ready to make his push for a percentage of his transfer fee.

Barca believe that only players transferred between Spanish clubs have a legal right to make the claim, but Eto'o will take the matter to court, his representative, Jose Maria Mesalles, has confirmed.

"Eto'o is going to win the process," his agent was quoted as saying by Sport.

"We think that we have the right to claim for €2 million as part of the transfer of Samuel Eto'o to Inter.

"We are within our rights to do this and if we weren't then we would not be pressing on. We have set the judicial ball rolling.

"At the moment we do not know what will happen, but I think things will turn out well because we have the rights in this case."
