Yaya Toure - Barcelona

Kolo Toure has called upon brother Yaya to leave Barcelona and join him at Manchester City.

The Ivory Coast defender is well aware of reports linking his sibling with a move away from Camp Nou and is hopeful that the English club will make a move.

Barcelona have insisted that they have no plans to let Toure leave and even tied up a new contract with the former Monaco star last summer, but that has not stopped Kolo dreaming.

"I hope so. He is a good player, and if he could come to our team that would be great," he told the Manchester Evening News when asked if he would like his brother to join City.

"He has had a few hard times in Barcelona. He doesn't play a lot, and he loves football and loves to play.

"If he can come, especially to a club in England, he would be really happy because the Premier League is a fantastic place to play football.

"Technically he is very good and can hold up the ball, and is a great passer with great vision," the 28-year-old said. "He also has a great desire to win."
