Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi said the result was more important than his contribution after his side came away from Tenerife with all three points in a five goal rout.
Messi put himself level with David Villa in the Pichichi charts with a fantastic hat-trick and also supplied the cross for Carles Puyol's first half header while Ezequiel Luna put through his own goal for the fifth.
"I'm happy about my goals but the important thing is that we have achieved another victory and played a nice game," he said afterwards, as quoted by AS.
"it was very nice, it is important to enjoy the game and what we have done today."
The Argentine wizard also praised team-mate Bojan Krkic who assisted in all three of his goals.
"He's doing a great job. Today he has three assists and I am happy for him, he deserves it," noted Messi.
