The Sunday Mirror claims that sources within the Camp Nou are confident of securing the 22-year-old's signature this summer, with the player collecting a cool £160,000 per week wages, in addition to a £9m signing-on fee.

But according to the Mirror a senior Barcelona source said: “It’s no longer a question of if but when Fabregas comes home.
“Arsenal are in no position to compete with the package on offer, although the desire of the player to come back far outweighs the financial rewards involved.”
Fabregas distanced himself from the speculation following his side's 1-0 win over Liverpool on Wednesday, but it is believed that the Spaniard would welcome a return to his homeland, and the player's father added to the fire by claiming his son would consider his future at Arsenal in the summer.
