(GSM) - Barcelona midfielder Xavi is delighted his side managed to sign Valencia star David Villa.Barca's playmaker hopes to win the World Cup this summer with his new teammate.
"Villa is here to make a difference, it is a pleasure to have Villa in any team," said Xavi. "This is fantastic news. He is a great player and a great goal scorer.
"This is a ten out of ten signing by Barcelona.
"You could say he has similar characteristics to Samuel Eto'o."
On Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, he added: "Villa and Cesc, if he comes too, are welcome and will continue the football that characterizes us and they'll help us achieve further success."
