Thiago Alcántara do Nascimento (born April 11, 1991 in Bari, Italy) is a Spanish-Brazilian footballer who currently plays for Segunda División B side FC Barcelona Atlètic. He is the son of the former Brazilian footballer and World Cup winner, now head coach of Aris Thessaloniki in Greece, Mazinho.
He started at the lower levels of Flamengo, with 5 years were moved to Spain with his father Mazinho and played on Galician team Ureca, in 2004 is signed by the FC Barcelona. On May 17, 2009 Thiago made his debut with the first team of FC Barcelona vs RCD Mallorca.
