Gabriel Milito insists that he is not setting any date for his return from a knee injury that has kept him out since April 2007, but instead is taking great care over his recovery programme."I don't want to set deadlines for my return," he explained to Barcelona's official website.
"I am focused on day-to-day life and overcoming this injury."
The 29-year-old has recently returned to Barcelona from Argentina in order to continue his rehabilitation with the club's medical team, who have been keeping a watchful eye on proceedings in his home country.
Barcelona have gone from strength-to-strength in Milito's absence, and the former Real Zaragoza centre-back is eager to return to the side and participate in the Blaugrana's success.
"[The team] are on the same lines as last season - hopefully we will win the same as last year," Milito concluded.
