Pep Guardiola's protracted contract talks at Barcelona look set to continue with his friend and club director of external communications Manel Estiarte quoted by Sport as saying that Guardiola doesn't know if he will continue as coach.However, Estiarte stated that Guardiola is happy in his role and is hopeful of continuing at the helm at Barca.
"Pep is very happy with what he is doing and has started this year with an amazing hope," Estiarte said.
"He does not know if he will continue next year but he hopes to."
With presidential elections due to take place at Camp Nou next season, Guardiola is reported to be seeking assurances regarding his role at the club, with Estiarte stating that there are no guarantees.

AS, meanwhile, have reported that Guardiola is unlikely to pen a new deal during Joan Laporta's current term as president and isn't likely to do so until the elections are over.
